Backyard Concepts began in 2010. We 1951 as Hinman Awning and Carport Company. Lewie and Mindy Hinman, the company founders, have since turned the business over to their sons Ray, Eddie and Bobby. They then formed Hinman Pool & Patio. On January 1, 2000, we moved to our brand new facility at 636 Fussell Road.
